World Record Attempt

On Saturday, John and I went to Ikea. We bought our bed frame and a poang chair and footstool (pics later). As we were heading out to the warehouse part of the store, we stopped to snap a picture of a world record attempt. In celebration of Hispanic Awareness, some of Ybor City's cigar makers were trying to make the world's longest cigar.

Friday!

I had such a good day! I got to catch up with a dear old friend after work and see my co-workers from last year all at the same time!

Tomorrow we are heading to Ikea!!!

So tired....

This whole daylight savings time thing has kicked my butt! I think it's because it gets dark so much earlier...which makes me want to go to bed earlier.

Today I finished the green sock and tonight I will cast on the 2nd while watching Survivor. I also need to finish the mystery socks, but I will probably not get to them until I can devote my full attention to the pattern.

Tomorrow is Friday and I am so excited!!!!

Another day....

No pictures today and a short post. I think I will work on my green sock while watching TV a little later this evening. Tomorrow will be a long day, so I am gonna head off to bed early!

I used Cat Bordhi's Riverbed architecture for both of these pairs. It's my new favorite toe-up basic sock pattern. I have another pair on the needles and the Socktoberfest Mystery Socks as well, then I will be trying out a pair of socks using her newest book.

Day 2

No idea what to post today. I didn't get home from work until almost 6pm and I had to make dinner. We had crab legs....yum! Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to take and upload some pics of my most recent pair of socks...I get off work at 3pm so I should be home with enough time to do it!

Anyway, I have to get ready for Heroes!

Sorry for the serious lack in posting lately. I've been going though a lot over the past month or so and I needed some time away, but now I'm back.

This month I hope to post more projects and pictures of random things from my daily encounters.

Sandy and I decided to hang out and watch movies while waiting for the trick-or-treaters. We only had about 7 kids, so we thought we would goof off for the camera a little!
